The Fleet in 2015 consist of the following warships:


  • 4 Adelaide-class frigate (Sydney, Darwin, Melbourne, Newcastle)
  • 8 Anzac-class frigate (Anzac, Arunta, Perth, Warramunga, Stuart, Parramatta, Ballarat, Toowoomba)


  • 13 Armidale-class Patrol boat (Armidale, Larrakia, Bathurst, Albany, Pirie, Maitland, Ararat, Broome, Bundaberg, Wollongong, Childers, Launcheston, Glenelg, Maryborough)


  • 6 Huon-class coastal minehunter (Huon, Hawksbury, Diamantina, Yarra, Gasgoyne, Norman)



  • 6 Collins-class diesel-electric submarine (Collins, Farncomb, Waller, Dechaineux, Sheean, Rankin)





Prefix:
The international prefix for Royal Australian Navy ships is HMAS (His/Her Majesty's Australian Ship).
