Netherlands Maritime Force (NLMARFOR)
The Maritime Force in 2015 consist of the following warships:
- 4 De Zeven Provinciën-class air-defense and command frigates (De Zeven Provinciën, Tromp, De Ruyter, Evertsen)
- 2 Karel Doorman-class multipurpose frigates (Van Amstel, Van Speijk)
- 4 Walrus-class diesel-electric submarines (Walrus, Zeeleeuw, Dolfijn, Bruinvis)
- 4 Holland-class offshore patrol vessels (Holland, Zeeland, Friesland, Groningen)
- 1 Karel Doorman-class multi-function support ship (Karel Doorman)
- 2 Rotterdam-class amphibious transport dock (Rotterdam, Johan De Witt)
- 6 Tripartite-class minehunters (Makkum, Schiedam, Urk, Zierikzee, Vlaardingen, Willemstad)
- 1 Pelikaan-class support vessel (Pelikaan)
- 20 NATO Frigate Helicopters (NFH)
Prefix:
The international prefix for Dutch navy ships is HNLMS (His/Her Netherlands Majesty’s Ship).
