High Explosive (HE) munitions utilize an explosive charge to destroy their target. Moderately armored tanks are designed to absorb explosive impacts. Aircraft however, tend to be vulnerable against HE. One of the most common high explosive anti-aircraft weapons is the [AIM-9 Sidewinder].
