−	Joint France-Italy air defence destroyer program. Though 4 units were planned for French Marine Nationale, only 2 were built, the 2 others being abandonned in favour of FREMM-FREDA design. Planned for air defence of French carrier strike group, it can also escort landing vessels of the Mistral class.
