A category of sensor information in the Command model.
Speed Information indicates the speed of a target. This is obtained in radar by measuring the Doppler shift in the transmitted radar signal.
Sensor capability has evolved over time. More sophisticated engineering and processing of sensors has increased the type of information that can be obtained; older sensors are less capable.
Command distinguishes the sensor information types into:
Air Search Surface Search Altitude Information Range Information Heading Information Speed Information
